Where is the best and fun, fancey place to go for New Years eve in US?

Hey, here is a thought ....
Wherever you go, whatever you do, make it as good and fun as you want .. and it does NOT even need to be fancy for a New Year's Eve event! (and ... this Military Retiree and Empty-Nester is going with HER special someone to the Local Military Base, where we will attend the New Year's Eve Event at the Base Bowling Alley -- maybe not fancy (per se), but definitely A LOT of FUN!)
