As far as I'm concerned, after offering my advice, they can take it or leave it, unless if it someone I care about and I know they are headed for trouble then I will do whatever I need to do to keep them from making a mistake.

Good question, that's exactly where I am at on an issue with my family. Prove I am right lose big time, but also gain self-respect, long story....

Hopefully no one is proving who is right. For honest discussion is the key to understanding.. When we understand where each other is coming from then hopefully a broader awareness is achieved.

In most of the little questions we face day to day, there is no prize for being correct. And, no penilty for being wrong.
Usually I would not go very far. Unless.... I just needed the entertainment.

I don't need to prove I am right.... If I AM right and I know it, then I don't care if anyone else believes me and acknowledges it or not! And if I am NOT right, then that's fine by me too. I don't need to be right all the time, I know I am not. I hate people who always need to be right. If when you know damn well they aren't they still insist they are. Its so arrogant!

I don't waste time proving I'm right-God made laws, I follow them, and the Truth speaks for itself

I used to argue and try to prove that I was right, but now I realized it's just not worth it, and I don't care so much.

It's hard to stop yourself from "winning" an argument... especially when its a matter of whether or not you are right... but the most important thing is that you learned something. Or if you are fighting about who did what... then it's important that you tell the truth and stick with it.

To answer this, each person should ask themselves if they have ever been wrong.
If they`re honest the answer will be yes.
Therefore how can they be absolutely positive that they are right as they have been wrong before.

Zero distance. And I will admit I am wrong right away, even when I AM right - that way no time is wasted in useless argument.
