Specifically, 1990s decade "I had a great teenage life, and boy does growing up really bite" type of nostalgia.

I have a friend whose currently going through that right now, and i'm not really sure what to suggest.

If anyone can cough up a suggestion, i'm all ears. ;-)

Have a nostalgia themed night of the time he is nostalgic about.

Then bombard him with repetitive nostalgic music and foods, etc, until he is sick of the lot of it.

Might work lol.

Sometimes it is okay to look back and be happpy, but we live in the present. Find a hobby, exercise, something active to do-not just watching TV or playing video games. When we are busy and have a purpose in life, we can enjoy the good old days, but we can really really enjoy the here and now. Hope all goes well.

I wish I knew. I'm still nostalgic for the 80's....and it was such a fantastic time. Cool music, new clothing, MTV....If you find out, let me know.
