You don't need his permission to leave. Just move out and file for separation or divorce. The end. He can't stop you.

To separate from your husband who refuses to let you go is SIMPLE. Just GO! However, being SEPARATED is another thing. You did not give your reason/s why you want to separate. If you are physically and/or mentally ABUSED, you can take some legal actions. But if there is no harm done to you in anyway by your husband, and it's just in your mind to fantasize that being separated is better than being together, that's when you suffer the pain of being married.
The bottom line is, you need a "true and honest" reason/s to separate. If marriage is meant to be an easy way of life, everybody will jump into it. Remember the vow, "for better or for worst?"
Take care and be happy. It's your God-given right to search for your happiness. You only have ONE LIFE to live...LIVE IT TO THE FULLEST!

Well, I guess it depends on your religious beliefs and the laws of whatever country you are in. Mostly though, you don't need his permission. Pack your stuff and leave. If he tries to stop you and tries to abuse you in any way go to the police and get a restraining order.
If you are in another country other than the US, you could get help from the American Embassy or what ever it is.
But like I said, it depends on your religious beliefs and the laws of your country. Either way, if my husband was abusive in any way or being unfaithful (the only 2 reasons I would ever leave my marriage) I would just pack my stuff and leave even if I had to seek shelter from a women's shelter.

You don't need to ask anyone permission to leave.
You get up and leave.
If someone physically tries to stop you then call the police and they will give you 15 mins or so to get your things together and you can leave.
If you think this is what he may do, then pack some thing ahead of time, important documents, or do it when he's out of the house.
You can leave if you want.

Talk to a lawyer before you do ANYTHING. Especially if you have children. You could be leaving more than the marriage without even realizing it. So don't do anything without professional advice. Good luck.

Be a woman. Not a little girl. Pack your bags and walk out the front door. If he tries to stop you call the police.

as stated before you don't need anyones permission to stay with anyone. leave and then follow up with what you need to do. he cannot make you stay against your will and if he is threatening you, then check out the laws in your state. where there is a will there is a way.

You have to be your own person-woman- and take what you feel you deserve. If he isn't doing what you need him to do for you than it's up to you to make your happiness or your freedom happen

Never ask permission. You are a grown woman and can leave whenever you want. If you are worried about your safety leave when he is not there. You also do not need his permission to divorce him.
