I'm not for abolishing guns, but for much stricter control on who purchases them. However, that statement just seemed rather odd to me. How do you feel about it?

I know he supports the right to bear arms & that's his privilege. I just thought it odd for a Presidential candidate to say that especially with all the of late school shootings. And he did say that because I saw him saying it.

harryB84-I'm aware of what the 2nd Amendment entails, but that wasn't the question.

That was his way of kissing up to the members. What he means is "Please vote for me".

Hey they say he has a trophy wife. I wwent to one show and they were selling the "puff the magic dragon" machine gun deal that had been given to the Shah of Iran. It was something else an athey wanted $100,000 for it. It might be fun to shoot a couple of times, but can you imagine what the cost of firing it would be. I forget, maybe someone knows is it like 1,000 rounds a minute or more? Anyway back to the question, some people feel that way. Take care.

If he did say it, it seems he's a gun lover, or even a collector.
Sounds good to me.

Yep. He is a big gun advocate. One more reason why he is getting my vote. Check out his newly released plans for SS and taxes.
