Replace the blanks in each equation with constants to complete the square and form a true equation.

1] x^2 + 7x + __= (x+___)^2

2] t^2 -(5/3)t + ___ = (t-____)^2

1) hint - for this to be a simple squared number
it has to be half of you middle - i.e. 7 x

so 7/2 or 3.5 goes into the right blank (x+3.5)^2
now multiply 3.5 * 3.5 to get the first blank

2) same deal one half of 5/3 is 5/6ths
that's the second slot
for the first blank multiply 5/6 * 5/6

1) x^2 + 7x + 49 = (x+7)^2

dont know the second one
