What would a ghost be able to trip on in the woods? If it did, than most likely another ghost would hear them complain.

Yes, I would assume so, as the ghost I slapped last night wailed, cried and made an idiot out of herself.

Anyway, I've seen a ghost or two bump into door knobs in the hallway around 3am, and actually yelp, "Ouch!!"
Go figure--the dead lazy bums who refuse to complete their "destination" are so much in denial of their death that they have to pretend it hurts when they fall or bump into things in the physical things to help them think they are still alive [wingnuts]

OMG..OMG!!! WE LOOK LIKE SISTERS!!! LOL
I think if a ghost fell on leaves...the leaves would make a noise...or if it fell into water..there might be a splash. I guess it depends on how much energy the ghost has. (Example..did yo see the movie "Ghost"?...same thing!)
Actually, since they can go through things..how could thy trip or fall?

If a ghost falls anywhere else, does it make a noise?

Depends what kinda ghost it is... some may make a noise, others may pass right through 'em.
