It was July 22, 2007 when this man bumped into our car sideway while I was stopping at a red light. He was operating a commercial truck.
When the police came, he jumped down and had a talk with them first.
I was pregnant at the time and next to me was my drunken husband, resting in his passenger seat after quite a few bottle of Heineken. I was driving him home when the incident happened.

Immediately after the talk with the trucker, the officer came and asked me to tell him the truth. I told him that the truck driver bumped into me. The officer told me that the trucker said that when he walked down to see if we were okay and that me and my husband had switched seat. I told the officer that i was the one who drove. He did not believe me and he charged my husband with DWI and me with aiding & abeting.
I have been super busy with my newborn that I have not file a complaint against the officer yet. What should I say on the complaint form?

Police Officers have dealt with the exact same thing you describe over and over again. The truth is you would like nothing better than to sue some working man for something you know wasn't his fault. You know,,,free ride.
The problem is ,there are already so many of your kind that beat you to the punch that Police no longer believe your lies.Go ahead, file a complaint, the stats are against you.Sorry, might as well pay the fine and move on.

If this happened I would have done something IMMEDIATELY. You did not. Being super busy with a baby isn't an excuse to wait 4 months. I doubt they will believe you now. A lot of commercial trucks these days have cameras on the dash to record accidents.

Hire a lawyer. Sue their f***ing asses off. Don't mess around with complaint forms.

You shouldn't do anything without first seeing an attorney. It won't do you any good and will only hurt you. Go see an attorney about this.
