I think it would look ridiculous on your girlfriend and even more ridiculous on you! If you're going to cross-dress at least do it tastefully; don't be a sideshow. I am presuming you are trying to "pass"; If you try to dress in an ultra-feminine manner you will attract a lot of attention and you'll get "read" almost immediately.
