According to Christianity, God made the world in seven days, and on one of the days he put down all the animals. When he placed them on Earth, they would have already been in their prime (aka, climax of their life/adulthood), thus, the chicken would be first. If God put down all the animals in their young form (either as an egg or fresh offspring), then the animals would die because there are no parents to take care of them.

If we save on with and have faith the evolution theories, the chicken replaced into born from an egg of a prior evolution of the easily chicken, so the egg is the 1st one. And who positioned the egg? The ancestor of the chicken all of us comprehend recently, which isn't actually a chicken.

Well, my biology teacher had a theory that has been reinforced on the Discovery channel, that the chicken is a mutation of a lizard/bird type animal from the late dinosaur period... The lizard/bird whatchamacallit (sorry) laid an egg and it got mutated in it's generation toward being a chicken. It took, of course, generations to get to the chickens we know today, but that is the theory.

Look at a chicken's feet and legs. They are scaled like a lizard, and 3-toed the same....

The egg.

Invertebrates, fishes, amphibians and reptiles all lay eggs. Therefore egg existed before birds. The chicken is a domestic jungle fowl. Domestication occurred after humans began farming.
