We have a family plan with 4 phones and I just wanted to know how much text messaging was per phone and if the texts are roll over like the minutes?

we have a family plan with 3 phones and the texting is an individual thing. for instance, i have 1500 texts a month while my mother has none. the texts do NOT roll over like minutes though, so make sure you use them all. the price varies, as do the overage fees. once you get past 1500 texts, they are only 5 cents for everything over. however, anything below it is 10 cents

no the text messages dont roll over and per text is 10 cents incoming and outgoing. i suggest not to get att/cingular because i have that cellphone company and i get some many dropped calls. im about to end my contract with them that ive had for at least 6 years and go somewhere else.

Nope text do not rollover. If you want everyone on the plan to have unlimited text it is 29.99 thats the best deal. Especially if there are kids or heavy texters on the plan. You can add unlimited to an indv line for 19.99 or 200 txt for 4.99. You can add unlimited mobile to mobile text and 200 basic text for 9.99. The overage rate is .15 cents per text and i think its .25 cents per multi media messg.

i pay 20 per month for mine...its unlimited to anyone but thats multimedia as well as texting. or you can get 200 to other services and unlimited to cingular for 10 a month...

They gave me a package for I think $10 a month, but I rarely text.

Agreed. i could have a lengthy textual content fabric communique with somebody i'm no longer that talkative to in man or woman, yet i'm able to hold a communique with somebody i'm on the brink of on the telephone for hours.

unlimited plan is 9.99 per month per phone. rollover doesn't apply to sms messages, however.
