CHARACTERS:

SETTING:
Forks, Washington and Phoenix, Arizona

RISING ACTION:
1st

When James and his covet heard a game going on and decided they wanted to stop by to play

2ND

When James tricked Bella by telling her that he had her mom hostage and would harm her is she didn’t get to her mom’s house

CLIMAX:
When Bella arrived at the studio and James bite her

FALLING ACTION:
When Edward sucks the venom from Bella showing that he’s strong and can resist drinking Bella’s blood because he loves her so much.

RESOLUTION:
When Bella woke up at the hospital she was fine overall but the doctors had to transfusions because of the amount of blood she had lost

CONFLICT:
Man vs. Supernatural because Edward was trying to keep Bella safe from being bitten by James.

that's the second storyline. the first one is Bella and Edward falling for each other. if yours was the right one, then there's no rising action until over halfway through the book.

I would look at each chapter. Take the main point of each chapter, and then make an outline out of that. You will find it much easier to discover what the rising actions are and what the conflict is. It will be the largest points of the story.

there's also conflict with the relationship Edward and Bella has (can be seen in the epilogue) since he's a vampire and she's onyl human
