We should not be willing to give up any of our civil liberties. The more we give up, the more at risk we will be from the boogie man. Bush is more of a boogie man than any terrorist.

Most people will say give up none, however the truth is we don't know how many of our rights are already being...shall we say, suspended, because of the threat of terrorism. Our government could come and remove any of us at any time and we would be guilty unless we had ironclad proof we weren't terrorists. They could hold any of us incommunicado, in secret and without any legal advice. I don't know what you call that but I call it a severe loss of my rights. Cheers, I'm off to read the Patriot Act again and meditate that god continues to guide the hand of my President.

NONE - Dammit!
Give up ONE and the terrorists win.
Who was the genius that invented the assinine idea that we can protect our freedom by giving some of it up?
I can't think of ANY other situation where people would honestly consider giving up part of something they had to protect the rest of it. (like oh say) - a farmer decides to keep the wolves and coyotes and foxes out of his chicken coop by tying up a chicken outside the fence... what's he going to use tommorrow, another chicken?
Or how about you leave one of your cars parked out on the street tonight with the keys in it so nobody will steal the other one? Or - why don't you leave your Big Screen TV out in the front yard tonight so nobody breaks in to steal your computer?
See? it's TOTAL BS, why does ANYBODY fall for it?????

None! I believe that we can fight terrorism entirely within the framework of our Constitution and our Laws as already existed before those cowardly individuals hijacked those four airplanes on September 11, 2001.

I don't believe I've given up any except waiting in line a little longer at the airport.

Bush has already scrapped the Constitution. There really aren't many liberties left.
