I have an unusual name... I certainly would have chosen a different one such as Elizabeth, Laura, Helena, Clara or Clair, Hope, Joy... Rejoice (yeah!) or maybe...Amy!

No, I don't like my name! If I was to choose one myself it probably would have been one from the list I made when I was picking my daughter's name. All Arabic names.

Her dad agreed to the name farah meaning happiness or joy.
I also liked Malak (angel), Haneen (nostalgia) and Jana (fruit of heaven) to name a few.

I like my name, now. When I was little I wanted to change my name to Tina. My maiden name is Turner. My dad kept telling me that the world didn't need 2 Tina Turner's running around.

My name is Janice, but no one has ever called me that it's always been Jan. I don't look like a Janice, I think since I was born in January it would have been cooler to have January as my name. :)
