Definitely. Not only is there white calligraphy ink but back when I was in school they had us get Luma White Ink to make corrections. I haven't seen it for sale lately but I moved. ;-)

Some inks are chemical dyes, without solid pigments. They can be brilliant in hue, but they are transparent for most purposes.

Other inks get their color from solid particles (pigments). Usually, if white is required, it is from this group. Titanium is one of the popular ingredients.

If you research the silk-screen (serigraph) fields, you will find that "inks" are often very think paint-like materials. Something that would not work in a pen!

There is white ink that can be used with calligraphy pens. I suggest you get it at an art supply store.

Also try artist's gouache, which is a water color that can be thinned to use in some kinds of pens, like Rapidograph.
