My boyfriend says that he always wants me to swallow after oral sex because he considers his semen a "gift" to me....
How odd is this? Anyone else feel this way?

Here's my take on it......does he go down on you? if not then don't swallow if you don't want to....but if he does.....take into consideration that the 10 or more minutes or whatever that his mouth is on your p*ssy that your juices are flowing in his mouth the whole time....and his semen is in your mouth for what? less than 30 sec? If he has to go through several minutes of having your juices in his mouth when he goes down on you then is swallowing some semen which might last 30 secs or so really too much to ask for?

I think it is strange - well.. here's the deal I think. It's not really a nice "conclusion" for you to spit out.
I am against swallowing because of religious reasons, and it is a bit strange too I think. There are other options though: 1. similar to coitus interruptus - so he withdraws before cummin // 2. using a condom -they have many varieties now // 3. partial oral sex, if ya know what i mean
hmm.. and yeah, sounds like the whole "gift" thing is an excuse. Like what kind of gift is that? what are ya gonna do with that kinda gift? Ummm... I suppose some guys do consider it a 'gift'. I think it's just a ruse to get you to swallow his semen instead of him squirting it elsewhere. Does he have the same opinion of it when you make love and insist he always ejaculates into your vagina without a condom?

Lots of women don't like to swallow. Any guy who insists is someone who doesn't respect your preferences. And any guy who calls that excretion a "gift" is way too stuck on himself, and is playing some control-freak mind game.
Swallow if you like to, don't if you don't, and think about whether that's a guy you want to stay with much longer.

It is an odd reason for him wanting you do do this.I like it because while a woman is swallowing it just adds extra pleasure to the whole act and it keeps me erect.

In my personal opinion a girl swallowing is really hot. And the

He is asking that because that would be a very satisfying way for him to finish. The "gift" term is a trick he uses so you think that you are getting something you like or you want, therefore you want that "gift" again and he gets the pleasure.

Calling it a gift to you does sound weird. It probably excites him (as you can tell by many of the answers it does excite us) and he should just tell you that's the real reason he wants you to swallow.
As for people saying it's rude to spit it out. Heck, I'd rather have you blow me and spit then not blow me at all.
