I just found out I'm pregnant. & I'm kinda freaked cause I'm only 4'11 & i weigh 124 lbs. My sister is 5'2 & she said she had a lot of back problems when she was pregnant.
Will I because of my height?

Everyone is different. . I don't think there is any way to determine whether you will have back pain or not. I also don't think height has anything to do with wheather you have back pain or not. I am 5' tall and when I was pregnant I had no back pain. Try not to worry to much and enjoy your pregnancy. If you really are worried call your doctor. Good luck!!!

Absolutely not!! My mother in 5 feet tall and had 6 children with very little labor and no back pain. I am 5"8 and had 2 kids with all of my labor pain in the back. Every woman is different, every pregnancy is different and every labor and delivery is different. Any problems you have or do not have will not be due to your height. You will be fine.

your height has nothing to do with it the weight that is being put on your back causes the pain the more you weigh the more pain it causes. you body mass index will tell you if you have too much fat on your body this could help you determine if you will have much problems or if any at all.

If you do have back pains it won't be because of your height. My neighbor is a "little person" she is 3'7 (and no I am not joking) and she gave birth to a healthy baby girl last fall ---minus the back problems. She actually had issues with her knees until after she gave birth. so it depends... congrats on your pregnancy and good luck.

You could, but maybe not. I am 5-1. I had back pain, but I also had twins.

my mother is 5'4" or so and she says that yes, you probably will have backpains as your back has to support all the weight you have in the front of your body.

every one is different- do you have a bad back now if so then it is verry posable to have one when your going to have a baby
