Zeus is the Lord of the Sky, and rules over the other gods. Demeter is the goddess of fertility. Athena is the goddes of arts and crafts, wisdom, and war. Apollo is the god of the sun, but did not drive the sun chariot, that was Helios's job.

Zeus was the ruler of Mount Olympia, but was the god of Sky and Thunder.
Demeter was the Goddess of Grain and Fertility.
Athena was the Goddess of Wisdom and Battle Tactics.
Apollo was the God of the Light and Medicine. Many people get Apollo confused with Helios who use to pull his chariot with Steeds of Flame, across the sky. Helios means Sun in Greek.

Zeus ruled the other gods. He is king of heaven, lord of prosperity, and represents authority, power, and dominance. He is known for seducing many female beings, gods, and mortals.
Demeter is the Mother Earth and is responsible for growing plantlife.
Athena is the goddess of wisdom. She sprung fully formed from Zues's head so was never a child though she is a virgin- rare among Olympian gods/goddesses. She is the goddess of education, culture, and even sentience.
Apollo is the sun-god.

Zeus was basically the strongest god. Demeter is the goddess of farming,harvest. Athene is the wisest goddess. And Apollo is the god of music. Trust me I know this, I learned in class.
