Ignore Dave's answer -Ron Paul is not a front runner.

Look here for polling results that put Guiliani mildly ahead for Republicans and Obama trailing Clinton for the Dems.

Mind you there is a long way to go and things have a habit of changing once the primaries begin - neither Bush in 2000 nor Clinton in 1992 were front runners at this point.

Republican front runner could be Guliani or Romney.Guliani is the national front runner but Romney is leading in the most critical states to take the nomination. History shows that Romney in is the best position.

Hillary is the front runner for democrats
