It depends on the rest of their appearance. I think it is much better if a man "owns" his baldness, rather than trying to cover it up with some bad hairstyel.

Depends on who it is... Michael Jordan got more tail that anyone since the 80's through today (and I really think HE set this style & tone)... and Rudy Giuliani may be our first BALD president, for all we know? (I'm not voting for him, so far) so the attractiveness/ commonplace-ness? of it may skyrocket, even more so...

99% of the time, NO.
But I did meet a guy who, somehow, was quite tempting - and he had only a fringe. Personality plays a huge part, I guess.
