of this list it was Reagan. he was on the radio during the depression and world war 2 and he knew how to use it to his advantage, plus the media loved him as much as they did the clintons, but kennedy is still the champ. it actually hurt nixon during their debates. it was because of kennedy's success that later presidents saw the value in playing up to the american public's image consciousness instead of their intelligence.
after watergate ford was seen as a weak president, carter's career couldn't be salvaged after the media blamed him for the iran hostage crisis and gave reagan the credit and johnson didn't give a crap.
