This question made me laugh right out loud. My avatar is a copy of 'Arrangement in Gray and Black,' an oil painting done in 1871 by James McNeill Whistler. It's more commonly known as Whistler's Mother. I'm old, but not THAT old nor am I as dowdy as the woman in the portrait. I just like the painting and at one time I had a 'no bullsh*t logo super imposed over the picture hanging on the wall and it looked like part of the painting.

To the same extent that everyone else resembles theirs...I mean, I have approximately the same hair, eyes, and skin color, but somehow if someone were to see my avatar I doubt they would say "Oh this is a cartoon version of so-and-so". Ya know?

A little bit. My hair is longer though in real life and I never wear hats. Have a special avatar in mind for someone here, though it's going to take some work, lol, starting off with my eyebrows first.

not at all, and really do we all have Bratz type faces anyways? I'm just not very proficient at altering it, so I would put that shark face or something instead if I knew how to, I can't even seem to change the gender. I chose Yoda from the selection, but he just seemed to stand next to the Bratz like doll instead of being able to use his face. So nope, I don't look like my Avatar. can someone tell me how to choose Yoda?

My avatar looks just like me.
Meduim tone green eyes or deep blue eyes would've been better then the dark brown I had chosen.
My eyes are black, since there wasn't any black eyes as an option for my avatar, I had to choose dark brown, although they do look black with my black hair.

Yes I do! I try to make my avatar look as much like me as I can. I even pick clothes that look like the ones I have in my closet.

Cute blonde, why yes. But sadly I don't have a wonderfully elegant hat that oddly resembles Santa's in a way.

You cannot make your avatar twenty pounds overweight.... but if you could, I would just like my avatar. I'm a size twelve in real life.

Absolutely as close as you can for a cartoon character, how about you?
I do not see why others would pose and pretend to look as someone else although an exception for the fun Ava tors.
