heated gear if he wants to ride in the winter, but i'll 2nd the motion on the frog toggs. they're 30-40 dollars cheaper than the hd suit, and the biggest thing that will set them apart is, frog toggs are breatheable. air passes thru, water stays out. go to frogtoggs.com to get the size u need.
a detachable wind sheild would be a good idea also; wind blast does get tiring after awhile.
or u could get him a pair or 2 of draggin jeans. these will hold up in a slide that standard denim doesnt have a prayer of doing. dragginjeans.com for details. price would pay for itself if he ever winds up comin off the bike.

cellular telephones are not the terrific element to get as a modern, it may actually get broken or no longer be some thing he needs. Watch is definitely a sturdy concept as a modern. a extreme-high quality briefcase or workstation case is extreme-high quality besides. in case you're concentrated on one yet another, what approximately reserving a weekend getaway or perhaps basically one million night at a close-by lodge with dinner. Then incorporate coupons for issues like a moonlight walk, breakfast in mattress, a rubdown, and so on...

I've received lots of gifts for my Harley over the years, and the best advice I can I can give, is get him a gift card. It may be sort of impersonal, but only he can say what he wants to do with his bike. I've ended up returning many things other people thought would look cool on my bike.
Either that, or get him a 96 inch upgrade. Pretty costly, but I'm sure he'll love it!

A rider can never have too many good quality riding boots, motorcycle jackets, or gloves. These show up in all sorts of price ranges, but be sure to get ones meant for motorcycle riding, with thick leather and suitable padding.
One item that's very useful for riding, if he doesn't already have it, is a rain suit. I have a set of neon orange Frogg Toggs that I picked up for around $60 that I always carry in my saddlebags in case it rains.

A few years ago I bought an electric vest to keep me warm on cold winter days here in South Dakota. It cost me a little over 225 dollars but was worth every penny, now the neighbors think I'm nuts when they see me riding in the middle of January.

Depending on your price range, I'd go with accessories...
Clothes, boots, a helmet, perhaps a set of saddle bags...
Without seeing your man's bike, and knowing what he's into, I can't answer as far as specific parts and what not. I'd say go into the local HD dealership, try online parts houses like J&P cycle or Dennis Kirk, or perhaps ebay.

A pair of fuzzy slippers.
I know it looks like a joke answer, but it's not. Would go really well with Byron's socks (especially if those were the nice, soft Merino wool ones...)

A biker needs a bell on his or her bike but it has to be given so price is up to you on what kind you get. It's for good luck!
