I think it makes sense. He wants to stay in ATL, he had a bad year and any numbers he puts up next year will most likely be better and thus give him an increased contract in the free agent market next year. It seems like a win-win situation all around.

From what I've heard, the Dodgers are seriously interested in him, and I think he will join Furcal in LA.

The Braves may or may not offer him arbitration at this stage, unfortunately, it may be too little too late. Both the Giants and Dodgers are now showing a great deal of interest in him, as well as Aaron Rowand.

My pick is that Jones leaves the Braves for SF.

His agent has already said that Andruw will NOT sign for one year. I would have to believe that Jones will get a multi-year contract from a club desperate enough to sign him. The Braves had their chance to sign him and let it pass, so he will go with the highest bidder. Look for that to be either the White Sox, Giants or Dodgers.

I dont think he will return to Atlante.I think he will go to a team in the NL West, and the Braves will get a 3 out of 5 star outfielder to replace him.

Maybe, but we will have to see if he will or not, but if he is true that he won't sign a one year deal, then I bet he will stick to it, but then again you don't know with athethlets today, they just mgiht say one thing, and do something different.
