The Core the movie has the evidence of globle warming because a hole opened in the ozone and the sun's UV rays past through and burned people. Then their was trip to the earth's core and people wanted to know what the core is made of and what it looks like. Good movie.

Not bad CGI, but inaccurate science.
Good action (I especially liked the scene with the Golden Gate Bridge melting), but a relatively weak storyline.

At least they let you know what sort of science was behind it when it was stated that the device (drilling machine) was made from "unobtainium" LOL.

Wasn't a horrible way to waste some time (far better than drinking), but that's about it.

Best regards,
Jim

Exciting science fiction. My wife loves it, but she doesn't know anything about science. I have read many good SF books that are as scientifically impossible as this movie, but they were very good stories.
