While we found many people who hated Mrs Clinton, those who loved her were few and far between. Certainly, many said they would vote for her, but the reasons cited tended to be her status as the top Democrat

She is disliked for her policy's, and her proposed programs. Hillary is a Socialist, which is just short of Communist. She is for Big Government, she thinks the Bigger the Government the better. Hillary believes that we can not think for ourselves, that we need Hillary to do our thinking. Hillary is also not a warm person, I find her as cold hearted Hillary. Ask Bill Clinton about how warm she is, he's cheated on her thru the entire marriage. I'm not saying she's the anti-Christ, just a socialistic Witch. I do hope the Democrats run her for President.

She is a very polarizing person.

I think that has a lot to do with how she reached her present status.

Here in the US we value 'self made' people. It's part of our lore. We look up to, and try to emulate, those who got where they are with little more than hard work and determination. It 's a facet, I think, of a (somewhat) classless society.

So along comes Hillary Clinton who, make no mistake, would not be running for president right now, nor would she be a senator from New York, had she not been married to Bill Clinton for the last couple of decades.

What's more, that fella she is married to gave her good reason to dump him a few years back - and a lot of Americans, especially women, thought that is just what she should have done - and yet she did not.

Did she stay with him out of political expediency? I think a lot of people believe that she did.

So many Americans see her as a woman who already has a position she did not (yet) deserve and who is running for another position she likely never would have been in line for had it not been for her 'marriage of convenience'.

Let's just say it doesn't play well in Peoria...

Hillary Clinton is loathed by conservatives and Republicans because she is a strong woman who could usurp their stranglehold on power.

That said, if conservatives and Republicans were REALLY honest, they would admit that Senator Clinton is one of their best friends - she voted for Bush's wars, voted for the Patriot Act and has basically been even more conservative than her husband. The REAL reason conservatives and Republicans hate the Clintons is because they co-opted the Republican agenda and stole their thunder.

The reason people like myself loathe her is because she could have been a leader, but she chose to be a follower ... of the most wretched administration in American history.

Further, Senator Clinton refuses to take responsibility or to apologize for her votes - offering up the lame excuse, "if I knew then what I know now."

America wants a change so the Democrats should be able to waltz into the Presidency. The problem is that their front runner is so horribly polarizing. She demonizes her opponents. She is so contrived. She changes her political position in order to gather more power. She lies. She does not answer a straight question. If someone tries to get a straight answer from her, she becomes the victim of unfair politics. She is ruthless.

She is not a likable person. She is a true phony. She is from a Chicago suburb, yet claims to be a life-long Yankees fan and talks like a Black Southern Preacher when she is addressing a Black Southern Church group (if a Republican had talked with that phony accent, they would have been accused of God only knows what).

Hillary supporters, like myself, believe in voting for a qualified person instead of a master manipulator that has done absolutely nothing but lie to the American ppl. IE) the way he has so convinced everyone he voted against the war with his 'I opposed it from the start'. FYI, he was not a Senator until 2005. Him opposing it has as much meaning as you or I opposing it but, that's not what he implies = a BIG FAT CON MAN.

I like Hillary Clinton - but so many in my family "hate" her I can give you an opinion.

To some people she seems to come across as phony, opportunistic, self-serving, condescending, dishonest, unscrupulous, manipulative, etc.

There are left fringe elements who still back her, but the clear-thinking individuals seem to have realized she is quite far left - her recent drift to just-left-of-center for the sake of more moderate votes is both obvious and, I believe, quite insincere. She has both feet firmly planted in mid-air.

Senator Clinton has a history as we all do. Many that dislike her know she will be getting their vote.

The reality is setting in that--she may be Americas best hope.
