Good question, Scarlet--a lot of movie buffs would love to see this one released to video. For whatever reason, if the film still exists in a watchable print, it's still in the Paramount vaults (now held by MCA/Universal). Considering that this admittedly disjointed and odd version of the Alice books co-stars WC Fields, Cary Grant, Gary Cooper and other lights of the Paramount lot, you'd think someone would consider this a collector's piece--possibly, since this doesn't fall into a particular star's orbit, and was never really a box-office hit, it's been overlooked. I've seen this one a couple of times, but not since the 1950's when it was televised in a package of other Paramount releases. Being a fan of Charlotte Henry's, I'd sure love to add it to my collection. Alice does deserve a wider viewing.
