Well, my family consists of me and my mother, but she comes home later than me, so we almost never have dinner together, except Sundays. I'm not used to preparing for myself, I usually have a quick dinner (salad + cheeseburger or something like that). Infact we are not a very traditional family....

See, i thought you were going to say you never sit down to eat with your family, because then I could relate with you. I'm 16 with a 9 year old sister, 2 parents, an older brother and sister, and we NEVER sit down together.. its pretty sad actually.. I wish we did..

When I lived at home (or when I visit) we always did (or do). Always, didn't matter who had dance or sports practice, homework, or work - we always ate together. Its so nice and I'm glad my parents made it a point to do that. Now, I either eat with coworkers, roommates or alone in front of the tv, lol...oh well...

We always do too. I grew up this way and I couldn't imagine raising my family any other way.
