If you're a snowman 72 degrees F is very hot.
People have a comfort range usually between 68 degrees to 76 degrees farenheit.

Relatively speaking? If you are talking about ambient temperature, 72 degrees F is very comfortable.
Only 40 deg warmer than freezing, yet 140 deg cooler than the boiling point of water.
I wouldn't ever describe 72 degrees F as being hot.

72 is considered to be room temperature, but whether or not you consider it's hot is what you're talking about. For water, it's warm if you're drinking. Maybe a little cool if you're going to swim in it. Cold if it's soup.
One person said it was hot because it was close to the boiling point of water, 100. That can only be true if the atmosphere is very thin. The boiling point of water is 212 f at sea level.
I think he was thinking 100c.

It depends on what you feel is hot. To me 72 degrees is comfortable to warm. I would wear short sleeves and capris in that weather. I don't know if I would want to go to the pool though........maybe if it was the end of August and the water was warmed up from the summer heat.

Depends on what you consider hot I guess. 68 to 72 F would be room temperature. Warm, not hot. tepid.
