Unfortunately, MLB has become really stingy on player jerseys. Based on their licensing agreement with the MLBPA, MLB is allows the production of jerseys with the players names and numbers of the team they are currently playing on. The other company that is permitted (legally) to make retired player jerseys is Mitchell & Ness. Therefore, unless you find it on ebay, there really isn't a good way to find a jersey of a player that now plays for a different team, or has now retired, unless that player was a star. One way to get a jersey of a retired player is to go ahead and find the correct jersey online, then go order the lettering from some place like www.authenticlettering.com, and have it sewn on yourself.
