I go a note from my accountant and he told me that Social Security would increase by 2.3% and that Medicare has increased the deductible for a hospitalization to $1.024.00 per visit up to 60 days - but he neglected to tell me how much the actual deduction (cost) for Medicare part B was going to be!
Sorry - that's the best I can do for now. If I hear any more - will keep you posted!

Lower COLA and that is being eaten up by higher Medicare payment. Stupid insurance more than doubled. Fortunately, I don't take any prescription drugs so I'm dropping them. To hell with 'em. Why should I pay 4-500.00 a year prescription coverage when I don't take prescription drugs....Even if I caught the flu or something and had to get a prescription filled, it wouldn't be 500.00.

Another brainstorm from Bushie and the boys full of corruption and graft to those politicians who are lobbied by insurance providers....

Blast them all, I'll be glad when those bunch of crooks are gone.

Going back to the basics. I'll take my chances. If I get sick, well, the way I look at it, their are not going to kick me to the curb.....

All I know so far is: we are getting a 2.3% raise and our deductible is going up and the best part for me, my part D plan is doubled for next year and the bad news for me is it's the only one that has all but two of my meds in it's formulary. What a Happy New year for us!
