how would you do this if the atomic mass of silver is 108?

You need to know the density of silver, then you can determine the weight of a cubic meter of silver; (important, convert the weight to grams if necessary) from this, you can divide by 108 to get moles of silver, finally multiply by Avigodro's number (6.02 x 10^23) to get number of atoms. You should be able to do it now.
