And why is she a whole lot smarter at some things than I am? Does that have to do with the fact that we were born five minutes apart?

It appears that you are a boy, which means that you and your sister are fraternal twins. The two of you developed from seperate eggs, just like any brother and sister. Identical twins develop from the same egg and are likely to share the same characteristics, fraternal twins do not.

Assuming you are male, you are not identical twins. That being the case, it is not any more unusual for there to be those differences than if you were born separately. You were conceived from 2 different eggs and 2 different sperm, so you are 2 different people.

I'm no psychologist but, it appears to me that you have an inferiority complex. Your sister just enjoys expressing herself. This expression doesn't make her any more intelligent than you; it makes her able to communicate with others more easily. Therein lies the key; communication. You could learn a lot from your sister. Let her help you with your homework or something. Get to know her better and maybe you'll break out of the prison you've put yourself into. I know, I was just like you with my older brother.

You're both totally different people and inherited different genetic combinations, even though you're twins. Birth order doesn't make a difference. Don't compare yourself to her. You're just a special as she is, and there is no one in the world just like you.
