You have it backwards. First you establish yourself as a professional, then you hire an agent.
Yes, there are some agents who will sign you right now, for a big fee--and then they'll require you to get photos from their agency photography, for more big bucks. Those agents are rip-offs, they won't help you at all, don't give them your money.
I'm assuming you want to do pop music of some genre. Go to clubs where that sort of music is played and meet musicians. Get into a collaboration with people and get some gigs. Beware of people who will exploit you, work your way up to high demand, and then consider an agency.

Just search for Talent Agents in San Jose, but your parents will have to get the agent for you, cause you cannot sign a contract until you are 18.
