Okay...I know babies cry, and I know babies are picky..believe me!!!
This baby that I recently watched is so pissed off all of the time.....he screams so loud that no sound comes out half the time, and poop squirts out..haha!! AND, he is also very very tense and stiff. He is so tense that his back arches backward and his toes stick up...its like he cannot relax...he also has no facial expressions yet ( he does not smile)...he makes this pissed off face, and cries...otherwise he has a blank stare.
Im not sure if this is normal or not....he acts like this at his own home too.
All other babies I have watched do not act like this at all....I have seen babies cry, but never to that extreme!

please help!

I'm still like this and I'm 28! I scream and poop squirts out. I've seen plenty of old people do this too.

I'd say give the doctor a call for a checkup. It's not that it's not normal, but you want to find ways to keep the baby relaxed.

Babies have needs and since they cannot communicate at such a young age, they use crying to show their discomfort and their need for something. Maybe the baby was tired, hungry, or needed a diaper change.
His tensing up and "not being able to relax" needs to be evaluated by a doctor.

doesnt sound right to me either and id tell the mom to find another sitter. The scariest thing about watching someone elses kids is that when something happens or goes wrong the finger will be pointed at u since u babysit before anyone else. dont put yourself in that position. ther was this womna whose kid was like that and that baby had shaken baby syndrome and she blamed the sitter who had only kept the kid for 3 days. that sitter was screwed because how do u prove that she didnt do it? she had a daycare for over 10 yrs and 3 kids of her own and still she got charged just cause the mom placed the blame on her

It may be neurological problem, (I know that they can cause stiffness and rigidness, as well as blank stares - possibly a seizure of some sort)not anything that deserves a "haha". Maybe mention the concerns to the parents. Why would you think it is funny for such a small infant to be that upset?? Maybe he has awful gas, or just needs to be held and cuddled. But it does sound like he is in pain, and SOMEONE needs to find out why. Mention to the parent(s) that he should be checked out by his Dr. No harm in that.

loool, nice choice of language, ur question is like an article off the sun newspaper
anyway
you have to check out your baby in the hospital, because a friend had the same problem wiv her baby, and turns out he had diabetes, I 've never seen a baby with diabetes, bt thats what her baby had apparently, thats why he was "pissed off" all the time loool, I hope your baby is ok (well not your baby, well u hope not lool)

in my opinion, i think that the baby still hasn't have enoug time to be familar to his surrounding yet. Could there possibly some thing that is bothering him? If so, try to find out what it is....it could be a stuff animal that he doesnt like or maybe the clothes that he wears aren't that comfortable. Most babies are very sensitive. well, good luck and i hope you find out what is bothering him to make him stop crying like that

in Spanish we call this ebrazilados....not sure what it's called in English but it's when they only want to be carried ALL the time. Do you notice that if you pick him up does he calm down or not???

If not that colic maybe, either way you need to comfort him or ask the parents if he does that with them as well.

you should never be taking care of this
baby because you know nothing about
babies. Do not get a job baby-sitting
until you know what you are doing.
Contact this baby's parents immediately. Babies do not get mad!!!
This baby is in pain and someone needs to find out where. This baby could be having a seizure. Find someone who will help...a neighbor
or even 911.

Your baby probably has colic, and doctors don't know what causes. Take your doctor to your pediatrician and find out. Constant movement and dark rooms can help soothe babies with colic. I am not a doctor, so please go see your pediatrician about this.
