Question

Do you guys have respect for the baseball team that you dislike the most? Why?

I dislike the Rockies, but, I do have some respect for them because they did go a long way and they proven to me that theyare a tough team... but i still dislike them, but I have respect for them. [:

I don't like the Yankees. I feel that some of their players and fans are cocky and arrogant, and I don't admire either of those things. Of course, there are some very classy and respectful Yankee fans I know, but I've come across more rude ones than respectful ones!

However, they're a great team who plays baseball the right way and I respect them very much.

I do have respect for most of the Red Sox. They go out there and do they're business without many fights usually. The only player I have disrespect for is Manny Ramirez. The guy is a disgrace to baseball. He shows off about everything and shows no hustle and is just... bleh. For the fans, they are cocky and most of them are band wagoners. Nobody was a Red Sox fan in 2003 and the next year, 1/4 of the country is Red Sox fan. They rub it in everyones faces that they won in 07. Just dont like that.

I dislike the Mets, but I respect them because they are a good tieam that has came a long way in the last couple of years.

Every one of the thirty MLB team wants to win and when they come and play your team you should enjoy the talented players on the other team and show them respect. I can never quite understand why we see so many on this site use the word "hate" for anything to do with baseball. We should always respect all the other teams.

I'm not a Yankees fan period. I have to admit, they are one of the best and with A-Rod and Jeter they are very respectable. I don't like Kobe Bryant either, but I acknowledge and accept the fact that he is a very talented player. In the Yankees' case, you have to respect 26 championship tittles.

well it depends on the team, i hate 6 teams, the a's, dodgers, yankees, red sux and white sux and the mets
i respect the a's because they usually win with almost no money, i respect the dodgers cause of their tradition, i respect the red sux, cause they really do have a whale of a team, the yankees i have absolutely zero respect for and even that is more than they deserve, the white sux have a tradition of scumminess and the mets? come on, you cant respect the mets!!

As a Cardinals fan, I'll just say this about the Cubs.

If the Cubs were picked to play a band of aliens and the survival of the human race depends on the outcome...I'm cheering for annihilation of Earth.

I am back to dislike the Chicago Cubs, and that it what happened 2 years ago, and hoe could you have any repesct for them at all. Since all what they do is lose, and figure out how to make thier drought of not winning the World Series even longer for thier fans, since they will all be dead before they even record that final out of thier World Series championship.

YANKEES FAN but the red socks are the next team i would root for. theyre a good team, what can you do? its not hypocritical to cheer for another team, either, because i know for a fact that when the yankees didnt make the world series this year, all the yankees fans went for the rockies. you can like more than one team.

I must say though, we do have some horribly obnoxious fans.
But every team does, so its nothing to be ashamed of.

But I do definately still respect them because most of my family is from NE & HUGE Boston fans.
