This is not s serious question, But Please give serious answers. Its for one of my Short Stories I am wrighitng and this kid is going to get hurt to get out of school, then all goes wrong and such.

how about the kid says he banged his head and then he has to go to hospital and get xrays etc.
or says he has a stomach ache and has to take yuk medicine.
or pretends to sprain his ankle and misses out on field trip he wanted to go to.
or like a boy who cried wolf one where he says he has a headache/stomach ache and then when he actually does no one believes him.

The only time I ever missed school because of an injury was when I got poked in the eye during a basketball game. His finger tore my tear ducts and I had to have surgery to "fix" them. I missed about 4 days of school. Pretty much anything that involves surgery will get you some time off.
