Do people with a big ego or alot of pride, actually have low self esteme?

The statement is very true. A person with a big ego is trying hard to do somthing. That can either be masking their low self esteem or they want to show off. But there is nothing wrong with it though.

Some yes and their low self esteem makes them want to harm others to make themselves look good.
On the other hand some people genuinely have confidence and feel good about themselves.

some do. but many more are genuinely confident and happy with themselves.
