An arm and a leg, or more depending on how aggressive it becomes as an adult. It will likely cost you both of your arms, or both legs, or all of your appendages for that matter. Lions have a tendency to go for the throat, so it might cost you your head too. It's hard to say what the true cost of purchasing a lion is, but you'll know as soon as it get big enough to want to eat you.
Good Luck!

so many things are wrong with that but if you really want one, which i dont advise at all, though it would be cool to have a tamed lion, but its impossible... ...... but any ways... go to africa, wait till the mothers not watching, which it always is for the most part, snatch the cub and run! see how far you get :P

as the saying goes .... if you have to ask .... you probably can't afford it.
But seriously .... independent of the actual cost ..... eventually a lion will cost an arm ...or a leg.
