listen again to the fantastic radio 2 shows on offer,sounds almost as good as vinyl.

No. Technology finally caught up with me. When you finally can't get tapes anymore, I recommend an Bug DAB radio which has the facility to record onto an SD card. I record a very early morning programme and listen to it when I go to bed at night. Have not got as far as podcasting though!

Occassionally. I have a Beatles at Christmas programme from 2005, The Midwich Cuckoos from 2003, and the King Roger opera by Karol Szymanowski from 2002.

i do not record on them but do buy the odd one a two every blue moon, i still have a radio cassette cd player in my truck and a retro 1980's ghetto blaster in my bathroom

the frequency range + hiss on tapes is awful..
