We'd like to know if we're the only family that does this. We live in a home with vents that are on the floor instead of the ceiling. So when it's cold outside and we want to warm up in a hurry, or sometimes just because it feels toasty, we do the flow thing. We sit on the edge of my bed where there is a vent and the heat is on. We take a bedsheet and wrap it around the front of us, and make sure to drape it over the vent. The heat fills the sheet, puffing it out like a marshmallow. The whole sheet fills with nice, warm air from the heater and it feels great. Are we sick people, or does anyone out there do this?

There is simply no better way to start a frosty morning. I used to live in a house with those kinds of vents years ago, and I miss doing that. Thanks for bringing back some pretty cool memories.

So no, yinz guys aren't the only family to do that.

I've never done that but it sounds like it must work great.
In the army they teach you to keep your head under your blanket to let your breath do the warming.
