Guys- for real

I mean, what benefits are there in dating a woman with a child or children?

It affects the intimacy..any spontaneous activity is gone...no matter how great a guy you are you will never be #1 to your woman.

It affects your wallet (like it or not sooner or later the ex will quite paying support), and you are robbed of having the milestone of sharing the firstborn baby with her, if you want kids of your own.

The ex will always be part of the picture...if he is not present the kid will hold it against you! And the woman has had another man's seed growing in her womb.

Why bother?

Don't bother. . . that's why there's choices.

LMAO! Well, some of what you said it true, but most of it is neither here nor there. My fiance and I got together when my son was 2 and yeah from day 1 he financial provided for the two of us, but it was his choice. Our intimacy was actually spontaneous in the aspect of having sex during odd times and in odd places of the house depending on where my little one was at. A major benefit was it gave ME a taste of whether he could adapt to children, and him a taste of whther or not he wanted his own. Here we are over a year later with a baby of our own, and ready to be wed.....so yes, there are benfits in dating a woman with a child....:)

What a stupid question. This is like asking "what are the benefits of dating someone who lives on another continent?"
Of COURSE there aren't any benefits to it. Do you think men date women who have children BECAUSE OF THE CHILDREN? Only if the man in question is a pedophile! Presumably (at least for men who don't see women as interchangable objects, as you apparently do), he chooses to date her in spite of the children, because he considers *her* worth it. Same reason I reject men who live in my own town and wait for my German boyfriend to get his visa: there are no benefits to having a long distance relationship, but *he* is worth it, as an individual.
However, the way you worded your question makes me doubt you'll ever understand that.

I am so glad my father did not have your view. He met my mom when she was a single mom and adopted me as his own. He was the greatest man I ever knew and very smart. So my guess is there is a lot of bennfits you do not see.
