We religiously delete emails from our accounts, but they never show up in the recycle bin. I tried to find something today, and it was not there. Nothing shows up since shortly after we bought this computer with Windows Vista, which we hate. I will try to check properties in Global Tab, if I can find it. Thanks.

Deleted email goes into the Trash Folder within your email program, not the Recycle Bin.

Your deleted emails never go to Recycle Bin. If you want, you can rich them by clicking Trash below Folders on the left side (don't click Empty!) From Trash you can delete emails forever or move them wherever you want.
