I am trying to conceive and have been for over 5 years. I have slowly gained 40 lbs since then. One reason is because I am afraid to diet just in case I do get pregnant during some month. So I will start a diet when my period comes but by the time ovulation comes I quit because I don't want to harm my baby. I finally found out it is ok to diet but I don't know how much. So if anyone knows how many calories is the absolute least I could have a day, without hurting a baby, while trying to conceive then I think I could be successful in losing this extra weight I gained and then having a healthier pregnancy. Thank you for any help
