Probably 2. A small business envelope with 8 pages of 20 pound bond paper just makes it under an ounce, so the heavier envelope should be over.

Depends on the weight. A 10 X 13 envelope (must be less than 1/4 inch thick) is considered a "flat" and costs 80 cents for the first ounce and 17 cents for each fractional ounce after that up to 13 ounces.

However, if it is more than 1/4 inch thick, or if it is very rigid or very lumpy (not uniform in thickness), it is considered a package and will cost $1.13 for the first ounce and 17 cents for each factional ounce after that up to 13 ounces.

Ten pages? I'm guessing it's a flat for about $1.14. But take it to a post office to be sure.

Well, 5 pieces of paper weigh 1 ounce which would be one stamp, so 10 would be two stamps, but you might want to use 3 because of the weight of the envelope. Or just go to the PO and have them weigh it.

You need to judge about 1 stamp for every 3 pieces of paper. You can probably get away with 3 stamps for this one. You will find out a few days later if you get the package back. I would suggest going to the post office to save money.

Depending on how much the paper weighs, if all together weighs about 1pd or around that, then 3-4 stamps(:

Take it to the post office and have them weigh it. Why take a chance on getting it back because it didn't have enough postage, and why waste the extra money if you don't need to.
