I LOVE the togetherness. The being able to forget your troubles and woes for a short time and truly remember the real meaning of Christmas, when that precious baby Jesus was born.
I LOVE the joy I feel hearing Christmas carols and festive songs.
I LOVE the warmth of hugs and kisses from my family and friends.
I LOVE the wide eyes and excitement on the faces of the little ones as they open their gifts, and I LOVE the feeling I get while I wrap the presents, or prepare our Christmas feast or decorate our home. Also I LOVE the fact that everyone around me seems to feel pretty much the same.

Everything. I love the music and the decorations and the Christmas Spirit that you can feel in the air. You get to spend time with your family and it's a time of giving. I see people who usually don't give to others donating time, money and other things during Christmas. It's a great time of year.

I like to sit on the couch in my pj's after opening presents. While I am sitting on my couch I LOVE looking at the Christmas tree sparkling from the Christmas lights and seeing and hearing my fire-place blazing in the dark room making it warm and cozy.
I also loved to sit on the couch with my boy-friend beside me wrapped in a blanket with a steaming hot cup of hot chocolate in my hand. Unfortunately I can't do that this year because me and my boy-friend are in a long-distance relationship.

Christmas is a 'birthday party' where the 'gifts' you give to others are 'in place of' the gifts that were given to the baby Jesus ... and when my kids were young, they wanted me to bake a birthday cake, with candles that they could 'blow out' for Jesus, too ... and that was a lovely tradition. So, to everyone out there who loves Christmas for ANY reason ... please remember that there is a 'baby boy' whose birthday we are celebrating, and give something to someone who may not get anything else ... and then have a VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS yourself, too.

nothing, as a matter of fact christmas these days became an overly commercialized holiday, probably my least favorite of them all. i used to love christmas back in my country, eating the traditional meatless dishes, chocolate and mandarines...how warm the room would be and the anticipation of getting a gift. nowadays half the time we know exactly what we're getting b/c we put it on our "christmas registry" and tradition has slowly been replaced by mad dashing to big event sales. even the snow isnt the same.
