maybe she's shy, go and be friends with her

That shes misunderstood, that the shallow people around her don't spend the time to get to know and that she probably gets bullied. Yet in reality shes probably the type that would make the best friend you've ever had and has a really amazing personality but for one reason or another no one will spend the time to get to know her.

If this girl is you I understand exactly how you feel. I started college last year and spent 3 months totally alone and my entire form group used to laugh as I walked through the door.

If this girl isnt you but someone at your college I suggest you make some effort to talk to her even if you ask her something stupid.

My best friend now - our first conversation was that we was both on our own, I was preparing to spend the year without friends again but I plucked up the courage to ask if she was at college last year and from then on we stuck together.

Good Luck!

I'm in college and don't have any friends. I find the hardest thing to keeping them is just having so many other things going on in my life that I don't have time for them. I do to school full time, work full time and have to manage a business. So it's hard. I find the people I meet sometimes don't understand that. Well I have friends that when I see I'll talk to them and stuff like that. But not the kind where we can go out and do stuff or make plans or anything like that. I'm fine. I have friends outside of school. But then it's hard to keep close to them cause they don't go to school so don't know some of the things that come up in my life. So nothing is wrong with her.

Hi,

I'd probably feel a little sorry for her. If this is someone you know then why not try and include her a little in your social circle - you never know you may find she is a great friend to have.

She probably very shy and no idea how to interact with others and feels isolated in college.

If the girl in question is you and it you who has no friends in college then get out there and make opportunities for yourself to mingle with others and to form friendships.

Lx

Hey i'm just like you. I know it sucks but I can't control people and the way they feel. I really don't know what happend. I was fine my freshman year (5 years ago), then, everyone just started getting distant after I had some personal problems. I guess what they say is true: you smile and a whole crowd smiles with u, you cry and you end up crying alone. It's weird.

i would say that is her right and if she chooses to be by herself that is fine.maybe she just wants to put all her time into her education.maybe she finds it harder than most. but what ever the reason that is her choice.
not everybody has to conform to what is seen as the norm.
dont judge her just because she sees things differently.
most people will have friends and an active social life at college but that doenst mean everyone has to.

I think that that girl is very smart. she is able to focus on her studies, and she won't get distracted with problems and drama. Besides, as people are always telling me, it doesn't matter what people think of you after high school, what matters is what you think of yourself. All I have to say to that girl is ROCK ON! (and don't let others bring you down)
