The router is workind fine on the desktop and with the wireless to the Wii. The problem is connecting it to my laptop. My laptop will find the signal, try to connect then say "Limited or No connection". I then try to repair the connection by hitting "Repair" but it will get to "Renewing your IP Address" then quit out. I'm guessing it's doing that becuase it's timed out.

Help!?

You didn't say but per chance is your Laptop Running VISTA?
If so there were some issues with Vista not accepting DHCP addresses, which would explain the issue entirely.
See. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928233
for the "fix". the title is "Windows Vista cannot obtain an IP address from certain routers or from certain non-Microsoft DHCP servers" (that is a lot of routers out there!)

You might also try just setting an IP address for that connection. You can do that from the properties page of the wireless connection. (I did this for my wifes laptop - it also had a DHCP issue, which was caused by the wireless card and there weren't any updated drivers for it. Works great if all the issue is "limited or no connectivity" which is caused by not pulling an IP correctly!)

EDIT
One other thought, if you haven't done it, REBOOT the router. I have a linksys that for some reason will stop issuing wireless addresses. (Those connected by wire or in use work fine) By simply unplugging it waiting 30 seconds, reconnecting it, it works fine for another week or two.

Good Luck and God Bless

When you receive that error code, the laptop is not having an IP address assigned to it.
Is the router set up to automatically assign IP addresses or is it a fixed IP address system?
If the router is assigning IP addresses, check the setup for the connection in Network Connections. Make sure it is set to "Automatically obtain an IP address"
If it is a fixed IP address system, then assign an address in the same subnet to the laptop.

It sounds like there is WEP or WAP security enabled in the router and you have not put the correct security key in your laptop to connect correctly.

With your Limited or no Connection - you need to enter the security code that is written on your router.
