And which teams would you say have stood idle as well? I'll admit I haven't been paying all that much attention to what's been going on in the offseason. I know shame, shame, shame on me lol.

Shame On You!

= )

A few teams have already gotten better.
The best way to keep track of oyur team is by going to their website every so often.

I subscribe to The Tigers newsletter. That's how I found out Edgar Renteria & Jacque Jones.
I am completely biased, so I think The Tigers got better.
Minnesota got Craig Monroe in a trade, and he will come back to haunt us.
Cleveland really hasnt done much; but then again they didnt need too.
The White Sox got rid of Judy Garland (er, john); and that is somewhat shaky.
Of course we all know what the red sox and yanks did---how you could not know? all those stupid mike lowell and a rod questions?
Of course most of the answers you get will be biased to each person's team, so you'll have to sift through all those answers.

Go to your team's website and do some reading. I am sure they have updates as too what happened so far.

Enjoy!

I'll comment on my favorite team, the Red Sox. I've been a fan for quite some time now and I've realized very quickly that this offseason will be quite a quiet one for the Sox this year. I feel, though being quiet, it will be one of the better offseasons for Boston in many years. Epstein didn't go out and throw major cash at over-hyped players (ie: Edgar Renteria, JC Romero, etc.), though he stayed in house and re-signed Schilling and Lowell. I feel that the re-signing of Schilling will pay great dividends. I know that Schilling is at the end of his career and that he's ancient in baseball terms..but I feel that what he is being used for, he'll be a great steal for the 8 million that he'll get paid. I predict that Mike Lowell will have another few stellar seasons with the Red Sox and I do believe that he will retire a legend in Boston. Now, Theo will probably go out and pick up 2 or 3 arms to fill up the bullpen but other than that, I feel much silence on the FA market for the Red Sox this offseason.

I knew as quickly as I observed this question somebody replaced into going to assert the Jets. Little did i comprehend it replaced into the asker. with the intention to tutor the main progression, you're able to advance greater effective than each physique else. as an occasion, if a collection that went 10-6 final 12 months is going 12-4, it somewhat is an progression of two video games. If a collection that went a million-15 is going 12-4, it somewhat is an progression of 11 video games. Likewise, in case you draft Peyton Manning and your QB the previous 12 months replaced into Matt Schaub, it somewhat is a marginal progression. Now in the experience that your QB replaced into Jamarcus Russell, its a substantial progression. That being suggested, the Jets did not suck final 12 months. They made it to the AFC championship interest with the leagues #a million protection and dashing attack. whether they bypass returned next 12 months and win the excellent bowl, if the Rams win 6 video games they stronger greater. From a workers viewpoint, you're able to verify out the adult adult males the Rams, Lions, and Bears have further in. those communities have stronger heavily and have not performed a single interest yet. My own opinion on the Jets is, they're nevertheless the place they have been final 12 months. LT won't replace TJ's production. never. not even close. Letting Leon Washington bypass? Taking a brilliant gamble on a rookie? Santonio Holmes replaced right into a scouse borrow for a 5th %., yet their vaunted floor attack isn't so frightening anymore. Defensively i don't se JT being greater effective than a situational bypass rusher. Wether he admits it or not, he would not have the physique, the cost, or the explosiveness he had whilst he gained protective POY. He can nevertheless get it performed, yet for sixteen video games??? Jury remains out on cromartie. If he's inspired to play or not no person can say. i will say nonetheless that even whilst he's inspired he's a foul tackler so I see many runs coming his way.

I am a Tigers fan, and I say they have done a great job this offseason.

Aside from the Tigers though, I think the Angels have done the best. The signing of Hunter will greatly help their fielding and somewhat help their hitting. If they can add Miguel Cabrera, like the rumors are suggesting, they would be the team to beat out West.

I think the Tigers and Angels have made the best moves to improve their respective teams this year.

If only the Mudhens had signed A-Rod.....

I think the Angels are showing the league they are sick of losing in the playoffs each year. They added to an already pretty good pitching staff with Garland and although they got rid of Cabrera still have a good infield too boot. If they get Cabrara from Florida, they will have a solid year. According to their managment they are not done dealing and acquiring ball players.

The yanks pretty much resigned everyone from their disappointing team, instead of going out and getting what they really need. Pitching and a quality first basemen and/or stud DH.

Well Definitely the Atlanta Braves with the addition of Tom Glavine. That was huge for pitching staff which struggled like crazy last yr.
