Logic and might, faith turned like a mill
The world not full of anything evil
Because nothing evil would be created
But what is the source of pain and death?
Is it illusion? It must be
Childlike, making assumptions of a good world
If it makes me feel better, what wrong is there?
To consider others as real, one would have to be omniscent
A terrible blasphemy and doing unto others all along
One step away from meddling-assuming that it is being taken care of
As an angel might ask God to be its slave
But without being so needy

As much as I like the penultimate line of this poem, it really isn't on the same level as your other poems posted here.

This poem does not have much description to it. The lines are full of abstractions, no concrete imagery, or in other words: you are telling and not showing.

I think this could be used as an effective outline for making a poem with more description and imagery in it.

Wouldn't lose those last to lines though--I think they are keepers. And they pack a great punch.
